Gene  and Jerry Kindred - Owners and Trainers

     Arizona residents for over 60 years, Gene and Jerry Kindred both graduated and have gotten their Bachelors and Masters degree in the education field at the University of Arizona. Having both retired as teachers, their main focus now is to train all sporting breeds for use as quality hunting companions.

     Gene and Jerry Kindred have been involved with field dog training for over 45 years. From their early beginnings as amateur competitors, rising to become nationally acclaimed field dog trainers and competitors. Their passion for their dogs and field dog training is unsurpassed as evidenced by the quality of field champions they brought up through the ranks.

​

     They have trained numerous pointing, flushing and retrieving gun dogs and produced champions in both horseback and walking field trials. They have participated in various field competitions sponsored by the National Shoot To Retrieve Association (NSTRA), North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), American Kennel Club (AKC) and American Field.

​

     Gene also served as a member of governing board, sponsored by both NSTRA and Purina, whose mission was to further enhance the quality of field dog competition in Northern America. Both Gene and Jerry have also served as judges on numerous field tests and trials.
